Skins Season 3-4

So the show picks up with Tony's younger sister, Effy (Elizabeth) Stonem, and explores her personality a bit deeper than what we were shown in the first 2 seasons. She's got her own group of friends; this time they're all a bit fucked in the head... And very, very, VERY easily fall in love. I can't stress that enough.
So the series 3 starts off with three life long friends, Freddie, Cook, and JJ, who all fall for Effy after they see her for the first time. Understandable, right? She's an attractive girl. She gives them a list, and only Cook completed it... and for a prize, he gets to fuck Effy. Cool. I mean, he's got a tattoo on his ass, that's something you can put under your belt of achievements. Literally...

Except Freddie is completely in love with her, and you can tell by the way the series is filmed, he's the one who will end up with Effy. Predictable.

Effy's best friend, Pandora (who was initially introduced in series 2) has a sweet Columbian boyfriend - who always finds himself in shitty predicaments, like getting involved with some weird gang banger who looks a bit like David Spade. So, he becomes introduced to life as a dealer. What a G! Except David Spade is fucked and starts creeping the fuck out of this kid. They have a chilli pepper eating contest and David Spade shits himself...

Okay. I only summarized this, because that was pretty much the only break this poor boy got in both the seasons. Pandora - who is supposed to be an innocent little girl - happens to just fuck Cook. What. The. Fuck? Your boyfriend was deported, and you're crying over it. So what do you do when a guy offers to fuck you? You fuck him? Yeah. No! Okay, whatever. So, when Thomas comes back, this girl keeps fucking Cook behind his back. That's pretty fucked up.

In series 4, he actually cheats on her too, which makes their relationship even more fucked up. Oh yeah, and she doesn't forgive him for the incident. Double standards. Surprise, surprise.

Here's a normal friendship between two girls. Just kidding. The redhead, Emily, has a twin named Katie, by the way. Emily, the sweeter of the two twins, is totally pining for Naomi. And guess what? Naomi loves her too from the moment she's seen Emily, even though she puts Emily through fucking hell because she's living in denial. That's pretty understandable, though, I guess. It's probably a tough thing to come to turns with... What's not understandable?
She fucked the dead girl.

Oh yeah, Naomi's also the reason she's dead. But you know, it's all cool, 'cause when you don't want to fuck up your life from your mistakes... Just blame it on the local fuck-up. Cool. Let him take the fall. Needless to say, I dislike Naomi. She's wishy-washy, insecure, and in my opinion... she's WHACK.

So... when I first watched it, I was always confused about which of the twin was Katie, and which one was Emily. Oh yeah... the hot bitch is Katie. While Effy was tripping out hardcore on shrooms, she beat the shit out of Katie with a rock. Then fucked her boyfriend. I laughed. Katie's catch phrase? "For fucks sake" - at least something good came out of her... mouth.

Arizona Green Tea

I really like Arizona Green Tea with ginseng and honey. It's probably one of my favorite flavors for the Arizona drinks. The best thing is that it's 695 mL of pure awesomeness and only 99 cents. Except I got mine on a special promotion for 85 cents! Okay, let's be honest... it takes so much less to make, but how happy does it make you to get a big ass drink for under a dollar?

All the other drinks that push their drinks for 3$ is bull shit. It does not take three fucking dollars to add sugar into tea or fruit punch. It's powder and water. It's sugar and water. It's bull fucking shit.

I don't have much background knowledge on nutrition, but the words "ginseng", "green tea", and "honey" sounds natural. Thus, they sound healthy, yeah? Let's just pretend it is, okay? So we can down cans of it (or one can, if you are over-hydrated) and feel great about yourself. To be honest, I count a can as a meal, because they fill me up so much, and it's so tasty!

Arizona > hamburger

Try it if you haven't.

Skins Season 1-2

The first season of Skins was definitely the best, in my opinion. The characters were well developed, the cast was fresh, and the storyline was enticing. I started watching Skins on the recommendation of my friend. It is impressing the hell out of me.

Let me give you the DL on the series. It's basically a teenage group of friends who are having a difficult time, and facing life full on. There's Tony, Sid, Cassie, Michelle, Chris, Anwar, Maxxie, Jal, and on some occasions Tony's sister, Effy.

My favorite character, by far, is Cassie. She's so complicated and developed. Watching her is like watching a peeling onion. There's so many layers to her character. She has an eating disorder and perhaps other psychological issues. Initially, I disliked her, thinking she was only an annoying, airheaded junkie. But as the series progresses, you find her to be so much more. And even if I don't have an eating disorder, I find myself relating to her character. Her insecurity with her weight is definitely a concern I share with her. Also, she's got a funky retro sense of style, which I absolutely adore!

Tony is probably the heart throb of the high school. He's clever, well-articulate, attractive, and has an intense case of God-complex. He can be a manipulative asshole, but he genuinely cares about his sister and Sid, which is... interesting.

Anyways, back to the story, Skins is filmed well. The shots are clear, and I find the camera angles very interesting. The story is filled with hard core parties and a shit ton of drugs, touching upon issues of teenage angst and drug abuse.

I think Skins is absolutely wonderful and can do no wrong. The first season was at least...

The second season was a bit dull, even though it was still pretty good. It's actually got a drastic twist, which is Tony's incapability due to the accident. He gets a shit haircut to accompany his new personality. Personally, I think I couldn't enjoy the second season as much, because they completely stripped away Tony's charms. Now, he's just a confused boy who is facing so many hardships, you can't even hate him for the things he did last season.

The good thing about the second season is that Maxxie got more screen-time. Why? Because he has a creepy stalker... who happens to be female... who happens to be the opposite gender of what he's attracted to.

Anyways, I'm going to go ahead and give this series an A-... or a B+. It's got great parts, but some of the stuff I just didn't fancy.

Good shit right here. I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet.

Go watch it now! Beware if you're easily offended though, because the show is filled with offensive content such as drugs, sex, eating disorders, family dysfunction, and other shit... that are offensive. OFFENCE. Or you can just chill the fuck out, and smoke some weed.

Transformers 3 - Dark of the Moon

So my first review is something dear to my childhood...

Transformers!
The movies weren't dear to my childhood, the cartoon was though. Just to unnecessarily clear that up. So, my friend and I went to watch this movie the other day, hearing mixed reviews about it... I personally did not enjoy it that much.

The story movie starts off with the first ever moon landing, and they find some alien shit that the government decides to cover up. Then, we see a damn nice pair of legs... then the movie progresses and shows us that it's our hero's, Sam Witwicky, girlfriend. Seems Sam is in a bit of a slump, and can't find a job. Luckily for him, his super hot girlfriend is supporting him. Then the story goes on about the Autobots fighting off Decpticons with some random twists here and there. Don't want to spoil too much for those who haven't watched it yet.

It wasn't great, and it wasn't terrible. It was just in between. You know... it was bearable. I felt the female lead was unnecessary. She was just a bait the whole time, and I didn't feel she contributed much. Well, other than being captured. A lot. This is really annoying, probably because I was a big fan of Megan Fox's character, Mikaela Banes. She was hot, fiery, and a well-grounded badass. I felt like she represented women in a funner, less commercial way.

Instead of Mikaela Banes, we got a woman who discouraged Sam at every turn. I mean, she was pretty to look at, but her character lacked a little (a lot!) of oomph. She's got a damn great body, too. Good for her.

Shia LaBoeuf's acting was great. His voice cracked when he was screaming for his girlfriend (who is so unmemorable that I actually forgot her name), which made me smile. I've liked him since Even Stevens

So the plot was okay, a bit redundant, and mostly predictable. Come on... Steven. Surprise us more, yeah?

The one thing I immensely enjoyed was definitely the beginning with the retro scenes of the first moon landing. Then again, I pretty much bleed for retro shit. Oh yeah, I loved Bumblebee too! He's my favourite autobot in the Transformers movie. His friendship with Sam is so cute, it makes the corners of my mouth twitch slightly upwards. What's that? A smile? Cool.

I think this movie was a B- at best.

Introduction

Hello, everyone.
Let me just start off honest with you. I'm not the nicest person. Hell, some people might even go as far as to say I'm not nice... even though I think I am courteous on most occasions (to people I like or respect).

People tell me I'm too honest. And you know what? When life gives you lemons, you make lemonades, right? Or you could grow a lemon tree and make a shit ton of lemonade, and make it into a company, and make loads of money off of it. It's quite simple. So what I've decided to turn my weakness into a strength. This is a review blog.

Basically, I'm going to play the role of a critic. I'll be judging other people's hard works (which I probably would not have enough talent to create) and acting as if I could do better.

I hope nobody thinks I'm a terrible person... I have a tendency of being harsh on things I dislike.
